The second day of the Eleventh Annual REFORC Conference on Early Modern Christianity is characterized by the presentation of the latest results of close reading of sources.
Here REFORC proves to be a perfect stage for junior scholars to present their research mainly based of a renewed reading of Early Modern sources.
Example of this was what a Dutch team of researchers found on the sources the author of the Belgic Confession, Guy de Brès, used. It is just amazing how much new insights can be found by making use of digital tools which is no longer a skill of only younger scholars.
Fitting to these findings is the presentation of the new Research Infrastructure RESILIENCE through a roundtable this afternoon, in which libraries, universities and publishers will formulate their common interest in such a RI.
Common interest was also generated by Wim François (KU Leuven) who invited all to the next annual conference to be held at the KU Leuven, May 11-13th 2023.
