You are welcome to the panel Constructing Boundary Markers in German Reformed Theological Discourse (1560–1619) at the SCSC annual conference in Chicago, October 30, 2026, sponsored by REFORC together with the Society for Reformation Research.
This panel presents the latest research on theological, ecclesiastical and/or institutional controversies within Calvinist Reformations across the Holy Roman Empire. The focus in this panel is on the way German theologians constructed boundary markers in their theological discourse with scholastic theology and with Counter-Reformation adversaries. The panel is scheduled October 30, 10:30 am–noon in LaSalle 5.
