In spite of the fact that COVID-19 prevented some scholars to participate, the conference on Righteousness in Early Modern Christianity, hosted by Fscire September 15/16, was a great success.
Scholars coming from various countries and even continents shared their research and demonstrated how relevant the Early Modern period is for today’s challenges. Just as much it was encouraging to see young scholars studying older issues with a fresh approach resulting into new insights.
This is what REFORC wants to achieve and that’s why REFORC organises and finances such conferences. It of course helped a lot that we could enjoy the hospitality of Fscire and the beauty of Bologna, and that we were able to meet in person.
Many reasons to move on to the next conference.
