Bio

Luca Baschera studied philosophy in Turin (Italy) and earned his PhD in Zurich witn a thesis on Peter Martyr Vermigli’s Commentary on the Nicomachean Ethics. After studying theology and while keeping on working in the field of Reformation studies, he was appointed “Privatdozent” in Practical Theology on the basis of a study concerning the practice of confession of sin and its theological foundations in Reformed worship. Luca Baschera is an ordained Reformed minister. Currently, he works as Research fellow at the Institute of Swiss Reformation Studies (Zurich) and as Liaison Librarian (Theology and Religious Studies) at the University Library in Zurich.
