Socinianism History, Views, Legacy

11 May 2022

Socinianism. History, views, legacy by Zbigniew Ogonowski, awarded in Poland with the KLIO prize, assigned to contributions of special relevance in historical research, is the last and most mature fruit of a life devoted to the study of the Socinian movement.

It is the only comprehensive work dedicated to Socinianism in the context of contemporary historiography. The study opens on Polish Antitrinitarianism, then traces the origin, the diffusion and the heritage of Socinianism and analyzes its major doctrinal points. For its breadth and style, it is addressed not only to specialists of Unitarianism, but to all scholars interested in a phenomenon central to the religious, cultural, and political life of modernity.
