15 January 2025
The year 2025 marks the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea, a key moment in the history of the Christian faith. To mark the anniversary, Unio cum Christo invites article submissions for an upcoming issue focusing on “Nicaea: History, Theology, and Reception”.
Unio cum Christo, an International Journal of Reformed Theology and Life, published Open Access by Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht, invites article submissions for an upcoming issue focusing on “Nicaea: History, Theology, and Reception,” which will be released in late 2025. Scholars are invited to submit articles on this topic by July 15, 2025.
We welcome articles exploring various facets of the Nicene formulation of the doctrine of God, examining how it has been received, interpreted, and developed in different Christian traditions. Contributions may address various topics related to the council’s historical significance, Scripture and Nicaea, the Nicene Creed’s theological implications, and its reception across different denominations and cultures.
Additionally, we accept articles for our non-themed issues that cover biblical, theological, historical, and practical studies.
For more information about submission guidelines, please visit Unio cum Christo‘s website.
