Jennifer Powell McNutt and Herman Selderhuis have been awarded with the Sixteenth Century Society’s John Tedeschi Prize for the best reference work: The Oxford Handbook of the Bible and the Reformation.
According to the Sixteenth Century Society,
“The five parts of this through, detailed volume from the Oxford Handbook series illuminate various components of the dialogue between the Bible and the Reformation. Divided into canon, translation and print, Reformation hermeneutics, commentators, and key themes, the volume provides easy access as a reference.”
The Prize was handed during the Sixteenth Century Society’s 2025 conference in Portland.
