Can the Reformation in the Swedish Empire paradigmatically be interpreted as a magisterial reformation? Hannah M. Kreß makes Olaus Petri’s Reformation œuvre accessible in German for the first time in terms of its breadth of content and with regard to its contemporary printings in German and analyzes it in depth. In doing so, she revises an outdated view of the Reformation in the Swedish Empire and demonstrates the vitality of its introduction.
